The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 469 466- Tired Of Being Some Damsel In Distress

Chapter 469 466- Tired Of Being Some Damsel In Distress

It wasn’t a simple frown, it was a frown someone would reserve for when they expected to eat a mouth full of ambrosia but ended up tasting dog shit instead.

Currently, Lu Yue was surrounded by disciples of the Profound Sword Sect trying to protect her as they battled the four hundred or so Fire Empire disciples.

The battle had been ongoing for some time, and though Gu Jin was angry that Lu Shin wasn’t here, he wasn\'t that upset after seeing Lu Yue.

However, not long after a wild beast showed up with more people and started wantonly slaughtering the disciples of his Fire Empire.

Gu Jin’s plans had been completely derailed.

Suddenly, a jade slip appeared in front of Gu Jin in a burst of light. Not just Gu Jin, but everyone in the area had a jade slip appear in front of them.

“Damn it!”

Gu Jin yelled when he saw this.

He grabbed the jade slip out of the air and scanned it.

It was the Token that showed the number of disciples currently in the Fiery Dimension.

The number was in the tens of thousands, but it was rapidly decreasing.

Gu Jin took out another jade slip from his storage ring and checked it.

It was a jade slip that showed the life signatures of his Fire Empire Disciples.

It was obvious with these two jade slips in front of him that the people who were dying or leaving the Fiery Dimension was mostly his Fire Empire Disciples.

“Since the Tournament has already started and everyone received their Tokens, they will be able to leave the Dimension by destroying it.”

Shiming said from behind him.

“Don’t you think I know that?”

Gu Jin clenched his teeth.

“How many people would it take for the Hidden Fragmented Realm to open?”

Gu Jin remind silent at Shiming’s question and then said emotionlessly.

“Everyone.”

The few Ming Clan disciples behind Shiming had their expressions change upon hearing that. As for the Fire Empire disciples that were with Gu Jin, they didn’t react as if they had known this would happen.

Shiming frowned and asked.

“Are you planning on sacrificing members of your Fire Empire as well?”

Gu Jin glanced back at Shiming before he asked.

“Do you want to back out of our partnership?”

Shiming paused and thought for a moment before he cup his fist and bowed.

“Allow me to bring a few of my trusted men into the Hidden Fragmented Realm.”

Gu Jin smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes.

“Of course, I’ll only kill to make up for the ones who escaped. But that’s as a last resort.”

After saying that, Gu Jin turned to look at the battle where Lu Yue and Mu Fan were. His gaze then landed on Lu Yue and his eyes flickered.

“I’ll join the battle to reduce the causality. We can’t lose the majority of our forces when the time hasn’t come for the Hidden Fragmented Realm to open. I’ll capture that girl, you go after that person.”

Shiming glanced at Mu Fan cutting down Fire Empire disciples and nodded before flying towards him.

Meanwhile, Gu Jin slowly floated over to where Lu Yue was.

The battle paused momentarily when he appeared.

Lu Yue was on the ground and she looked up at him.

“Why don’t you surrender? If you do then I promise I won’t kill everyone here.”

“Bastard! What do you think you’re doing?! Do you think our Profound Sword Sect will let you off once this Tournament is over!!”

“Yeah, that’s right! Once news of what happened in here gets out, you’re Fire Empire has to answer for this!!”

The Profound Sword Sect disciples standing around Lu Yue protectively began screaming and cursing at Gu Jin.

Gu Jin, however, snorted in contempt at their words.

“How will weak Sects like yours make my Fire Empire answer to anything?”

Turning to Lu Yue he said.

“What is your answer? Surrender or let everyone here die. Either way, you will still be in my hands when all is said and done.”

Lu Yue shook her head.

“I’m already betrothed.”

Gu Jin frowned when he heard that.

Indeed he did have some thoughts about Lu Yue, but they were completely shattered by her words.

“Fine, then I guess I’ll just kill you too. Afterwards, I’ll find the bastard you’re betrothed to and kill him as well.”

Lu Yue suddenly began to rise into the air.

“Young Miss!”

“Wait, Young Lady!”

Everyone tried to stop Lu Yue but she brushed everyone off.

“I’m tired of being some damsel in distress, I’m not so weak that I need protection.”

After saying that, Lu Yue rose further into the air and stopped in front of Gu Jin.

Gu Jin glance at her and saw battle intent in her eyes.

He almost burst out laughing.

“Are you thinking of fighting me by yourself?”

Lu Yue said nothing and merely released her cultivation.

Swoosh!

Gu Jin upon feeling her cultivation aura had his expression change slightly.

“The late stage of the Core Formation Realm?”

However, he suddenly frowned.

Lu Yue’s aura suddenly began to deflate like a balloon, and stopped at the Mid-stage of the Core Formation Realm, almost falling to the Early-stage.

Gu Jin seeing this smiled mockingly.

“It looks like you’re injured for your cultivation to drop so much.”

“Young lady!”

The disciples of the Profound Sword Sect had worried expressions on their faces as they looked at Yue.

They knew it wasn\'t that she was injured, it was because of her Yin and Yang essences that her cultivation was weakened. They had consumed her life essence and left her a shell of her former self.

Perhaps if she was fully healed she could challenge Gu Jin, but her actions right now were practically suicide!

Lu Yue ignored the disciples below her urging for her to return and instead flipped over her palm.

A slender long sword appeared in her hand and her pale fingers wrapped around it as tight as they could.

Gu Jin was smiling at Lu Yue as he said.

“It seems you’re eager to die by my hands, I’ll gladly grant you your wish.”

Bang!

Gu Jin’s body shot towards Lu Yue.

The disciples down below immediately sprung into action to block him, but the Fire Empire disciples intercepted them.

Gu Jin reached Lu Yue fast and his palm radiated a crimson glow as it slammed towards her chest.

Lu Yue responded by bringing up her sword.

With a loud bang, Gu Jin’s palm met her sword, however, it twisted at a strange angle and the terrifying force of Gu Jin\'s palm dissipated.

However, Lu Yue’s physical body was extremely weak so even though she successfully blocked Gu Jin’s palm attack, she was still knocked away.

Gu Jin looked at Lu Yue and said.

“Amazing, what kind of Sword Technique is that? It uses softness to counter my attack. I was sure you would at least cough up blood from my palm attack.”

Lu Yue looked at Gu Jin and swallowed the mouth full of blood that came up her throat.

She said nothing and instead raised her sword.

A malicious grin appeared on Gu Jin’s face when he saw that.

“Haha! I’ll play with you some more!!”

Gu Jin yelled as he shot towards Lu Yue.
